Cissexist Watch Wiki

Cissexist Watch: like the Night Watch from HBO Game of Thrones, but instead of winter we watch out for bigots.

Welcome to the Watch. If you disagree with us, you're a fascist.[]

We, the anointed truth-tellers, feel that the primary criteria for determining your fundamental nature is whatever you want it to be. It is this axiom that we use to justify our sanctimonious intellectual priesthood where truth is determined not through scientific inquiry, but through how well your political views conform to ours. If you disagree with us, you are ignorant and narrow-minded and you deserve to be publicly humiliated and have your privacy invaded, which is what this wiki is all about.

How Cissexist Watch Flags Professors[]

For the moment the rating system is as such: each professor is flagged either Positive, Neutral, or Negative. These ratings are controlled by the category section of the page holding the professor's information. Ratings also apply to TAs that have been added onto the wiki.

Important note regarding negative ratings[]

Please note that we are not outwardly calling anybody sexist or cissexist. That is not the point. This is a chronicle of instances, lectures, decisions, and moments where professors and TAs have chosen to perform problematic actions. This chronicle serves as a resource for trans* and gendervariant students who need to make decisions that concern their health and safety in university.

Some Rules[]

For the moment, this wiki aims to prioritize McGill University and Concordia University. As such the moderator(s) will be policing and popullating pages relating to those two Montréal, Québec institutions. If you want to create additional documentation and pages for a different university or institution, feel free to do so, but these are the priorities. (For now.) Please refrain from adding high schools or elementary schools. If need be, there can be a separate wiki for that. Because Cissexism Watch strives to be a trans* friendly resource, it is important for members, editors and commentors to check their privileges, observe their sentences, and be open to listen if conflicts over definitions, statements, or observations arise. Moderators reserve the right to take action (deletion, and banning) given the right circumstances, or multiple unnacceptable transgressions.

Universities[]

These are the Universities currently on the Cissexist Watchdar.
